The School of Codes has her mission to globalize the classroom and facilitate seamless collaboration between students from around the world via pioneering Global STEAM (STEM + Arts) enrichment courses for students. We run our courses to students in school during school hours, after school hours and during summer holidays depending on the suitable period for the school administrator. At the end of each course, students will be expected to present their portfolio projects.
WHAT WE HAVE TO ACCOMPLISH WITH THE COURSES WE OFFER
GLOBAL WEB DESIGNERS
Coding, Web Design and Environmental Studies
Students would design and create a website focused on global solutions. They will practice coding languages such HTML, CSS and JavaScript, as well as tools including Weebly, WordPress, Wix and Dash.
GLOBAL VIDEO GAME DESIGNERS
Video Game Design and Pre-coding
Students would learn the building blocks of coding using MIT’s “Scratch” video game design, Python and Blender platform. They would create video games, while learning sequencing skills and expressing themselves digitally!
GLOBAL INVENTORS
Design and Engineering
Students in this class will learn about designs and techniques required for engineering. Courses such as Robotics and Electronics would accomplish this as they cover inventions that are global solution based.
GLOBAL ANIMATORS
Collaborative Teamwork, Math and Problem Solving Skills
In this course, students will embark on an educational, dice-based adventure game about strategic thinking and actualization of goals and targets. They will engage in innovative game play that strengthens math skills, develops new problem solving skills in animation and game designing and encourage teamwork.
